I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am VERY passionate about educating on cancer awareness, to everyone that will listen. This time I am taking it a step further...I am going to shave my head for this worthy cause and be a walking billboard for my family, friends, and patients (past and present.)

For those that are not aware, I am a TWO-time survivor of this horrible disease, my last DX was 2017. WE ALL have been touched in some shape or form, either directly or indirectly.

I've been a nurse for almost 23 years have been there for the ringing of the bell(s) for their Final Treatments and seen them thriving years later. On the flip side, I have also had the honor to be there as they draw their final breath, before going to their resting place.

Several of my HS Alumni have lost children to leukemia & brain cancer. I have several adult friends that live here in SA, and my BFF from HS, her daughter 12 yrs old, that is battling cancer now.

I am doing this in honor of my warriors that are currently still in the fight and my angles that are now healthy on the other side of the rainbow.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
