I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

They say the third time is the charm.

I hope so, because I'm shaving my head again for St. Baldricks - in celebration of their 25th anniversary!

3rd time x 25 years equals my stretch goal of $75,000.  A big goal, but together we can get there and raise money for childhood cancer research.

Many of us know that what started 25 years ago as a challenge among friends in the (re)insurance community has grown into the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to fund the most worthwhile research projects across the globe.

Even now 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive. For those who do make it, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the US and the world, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Thank you for your support!
