I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Carpenter Cougars Care 19!

An interview with Gavin Lipinski, age 9, conducted by his dad Keith Lipinski, ageless and priceless.

Q:  "Why don't you tell me your name and a little something about yourself"
A:  "My name is Gavin Lipinski.  I'm 9 years old and I live in Park Ridge Illinois.  I like sports especially basketball, Fortnite, Travis Scott and Drake"

Q:  "Gavin, everyone wants me to ask this question - why are you shaving your head?"

A:  "Because it’s not fair that people that have cancer have to live without hair and I believe the people that have cancer should have hair."

Q:  "Have you known anyone with cancer?"
A:  "Yes and cancer is very bad because he (my grandpa) died because of it.  Cancer is bad, especially when kids get it.  This is for a better cause and if you don’t donate it - just shave it.  We're just saying 'hey people we should all do this it’s for a better cause'"

Q:  "Do you have any messages for anyone that’s reading this right now?"
A:  "Anyone that really knows if you want to be brave and take a risk show up at St. Baldricks or donate to any of the kids who are doing this - or donate to me.  Thank you!"

Q:  "Final question, people say without hair you look a lot more like me, what do you say to that?"
A:  (pausing - thinking) "Oh I hope not"
