I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Jewnicorns

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Jewnicorns

Cancer kills more kids than any other physical disease.

Most of you know that childhood cancers have touched my family very directly so this issue is very near and dear to my heart. My sister (featured in the picture with me) is a personal hero of mine, and I'm doing what I can to help ensure nobody ever has to experience what she did. One day maybe we’ll have a world free from any type of cancer (adult or child), but we need your help to get there.

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because with your donation “on my head,” together, we can save lives.

Unfortunately donations to find cures have been down since 2020 and I'm trying to do my part to help keep the fight going. Your donation supports leading research across the country. St. Baldrick's is the top funder of childhood cancer research grants! Let's help keep them in that spot!

This does not diminish the importance of “adult” cancers (which have also touched my family very deeply), but truly no child deserves this affliction.

*** Important update! ***

WOW!!!! I never thought I'd get close to my goal, but I blew right past it the first day!!!! Incredible!!!

Thank you to all my generous donors. I'm deeply touched and I can't tell you how much I appreciate this.

I've added a few stretch goals, and I'm open to suggestions for adding more. The first stretch goal (which we've already covered) is to dye my hair electric blue. Woohoo!! I'm going to make sure I have a nice full head of electric blue hair for the event.

For my next trick, I'll be glittering my beard. I'm thinking some kind of rainbow/multicolor kinda deal. I'm excited to see this happen! Help get me there! That's only $2000!

SECOND edit!!

I'm blown away! WOW! I can't believe the incredibly generous donations I've received. More stretch goals added! Let's get my glittery everywhere!

For the insane stretch goal I've added on "shave my beard". I've promised many a friends and family that I would never do such a thing again. but for $18,000 for charity, we can make an exception!

For real though, thank you all so so much!
