I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
It's been 10 years... I showed up to a St. Baldrick's event to cheer my friends on and after a pitcher of Guinness and $320 raised, I, too, walked out bald for the first time. Three years ago I was honored as a "Knight of the Bald Table" for at least seven years of participation. Through the years our team has grown in size, our fundraising has increased and, most importantly, word and deeds have spread.
Please support me/us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you
Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. If you've not a dollar to your name, then come share a smile at the event (kids & family welcome). I'll even give you a free rub.
