Cancer is the worst. When My wife Lisa was diagnosed with Pure Erythroid Leukemia I thought it was no big deal. I knew of many people who had been diagnosed with leukemia who had undergone treatment and went into remission and lived long productive lives. after researching this disease we found that most people who got it died within 19 days of diagnosis. Lisa fought for 89 days. Lisa spent her entire career as a labor and delivery nurse. she saw many children born with many different abnormalities. With her passing from this extremely rare form of blood cancer, it is exceedingly important that I honor Lisa by trying to fight cancer for kids in her honor. I know I don't grow much on top so I will let you have the beard as well, which has only been shaved twice since 1998. Please dig deep and let's kick cancer where it hurts.
Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because with your donation “on my head,” together, we can save lives.
Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.
Your gift will give kids hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!
