This year will mark my 3rd time shaving with the 46 Mommas. As a 2 time shavee and a Long Term Survivor, I know how important advancements in research are!! This past January, I marked 44 years post diagnosis of Stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma and this is one fight I won't walk away from! I'm here, fighting day in and day out to let kids & their parents know THERE IS HOPE!!
Childhood cancer - LET'S KICK iT!! Kids need to know that they do NOT fight alone! These kids need better treatments, better drugs with fewer side effects that provide better chances of survival with less risk of secondary cancers & the only way to get to that point is via research which comes with funding!! I want today's Warriors to be here, to live a full & productive life so in the future they will be able to tell of their own battle with cancer!! Eventually, I want that day to come when Childhood cancer is no more!
So, I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. The kids of today need to have a fighting chance from the start in order for them to have success! Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
