I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! "Why" you might ask? Good Question! I don't have any kids (that I know of) but I do have Very Good and Close Friends that do have kids. How would you reply if you got a phone call from one of your Very Good and Close Friends letting you know that their child was diagnosed with cancer? Can you imagine trying to explain to a three year old about the 'C-Word' ? This is something that I DO NOT want to ever have to experience ! Let's face it: shaving my head today is a Low Impact Event. If you know me, you know my hair will grow back by the following weekend (all that fertilizer) but what about the kid? Explain to them what's going on. Tell them that everything will be fine....let them know that it's normal to loose their hair.
Hair! Seriously? THIS is what we get hung up on? I would gladly be BALD for the rest of my life if that meant that ALL of the kids I know and love would be cancer free.
So, I am asking YOU give. Donate. Share what we are doing. This past year was AMAZING~~! And with your help, this coming year can be even better.
As Always. Let me know of any questions that you might have. And, as always, I challenge you to go and Shave Your Head for the KIDS.
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
