Shave: $1370
Save: $350
Due to the controversy surrounding my head being shaved, those who make a donation to help fight childhood cancer will be given a vote - should I get shaved or not? Please note that the side with the most money at the end, not number of votes, is the winner. The battle is raging, with a strong showing on both sides. In the end, this is all for fun with all donations going to St. Baldrick's to support their great cause.
I've participated in Locks of Love in the past, donating 14 inches of my luxurious curls. Now I'm (likely) having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I've set my personal fundraising goal at $1,000, but by no means should that be the limit.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
