I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Fado Staff

For the second year in a row, this St. Patrick's Day Week I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. This year Im part of a team with my fellow staff members at Fado Irish Pub, and we're working with our friends at Boundary Stone, Kelly's Irish Times, and others to raise a total of $50,000. I was amazed by how many friends donated last year, so to make it more interesting this year I've been growing my hair since October and will continue to do so until March. I'm starting fundraising early, and I've stepped up my personal goal to $2,000. I would be extremely grateful for any contribution you can make to meet this goal and help kids with cancer. I know some people run marathons and triathlons for charity, but cramps last for a day, a bad haircut lasts for weeks, and I don't know of any marathon you can run in a pub. I choose this cause because the one thing we all share is that we've all been a kid, and being a kid is the absolute best thing ever. No one should have their childhood or their lives threatened by something as terrible as cancer. Not being able to play little league, peg kids on your bmx to the town center, steal your first kiss, get into trouble, and do all the other amazing things that came with being a little boy is unimaginable to me, so I want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to do those thing and all the other things that come with being a kid. I also want to have fun and represent my pub, so please help in any way you can. Thank you and much love!
