I have signed up again this year to "Brave The Shave" and shave my hair to raise money for children's cancer research.
I have been blessed with three healthy children and I know others out there have not been as fortunate. I want to do something to pay it forward.
My first St. Baldrick's event was in 2014 and I set a goal of $500 and ended up raising $625. I ranked 16th out of 159 participants. I had to take 2015 off. In 2016, I set a goal of $1000 with the incentive that I would shave my beard off if I reached that goal. Thanks to my amazing family and friends, I raised $1060 and ranked 10th out of 123 participants.
I have set a goal of $1500 for #BeardBounty2017
If you know me, you know how much my beard means to me..... If shaving my beard off can raise money for children's cancer research, you better believe I will do it.
This is a winning situation for all involved. I get to feel good knowing I'm raising money for a great cause and you get to laugh at my clean shaven baby face.
Please make a donation if you can, share this post, even sign up to be a shavee!!!
I'm so proud to be a part of this great organization.
Thank you and have a great day!!!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
