I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello World – it’s time for the St. Baldrick’s 2017 fun & festivities to begin.  It is my honor to be a St. Baldrick’s Foundation participant for the tenth (10th) year.  That's right, a complete decade of passionate participation for a wonderful charity event. During the past nine (9) St. Baldrick’s years you have helped me raise approximately $9,201.00, meaningful donations that have been used to fight cancer & fund cancer research.  With your help I’m confident we can make an impact again this year.  Perhaps this is the year we raise the money that funds the research breakthrough to eradicate cancer The St. Baldrick’s 2017 event that I will participate in will be held at Campbellsville University of Saturday Martch 18, 2017.  The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a charity organization with a mission to find cures for cancer, specifically children’s cancer.   Let the games begin as I (attempt) to grow as much hair as I can and then on Saturday March 18, 2017, I get all that hair shaved off as a show support for all of those children, big and small, youthful and not so youthful, who are battling cancer. My annual participation with St. Baldrick’s has and always will be to honor those who have won their battle with cancer and honor the memory of those heroes who fought with everything they had ‘till they had no more fight in them.  We all know someone, a family member, classmate, neighbor, friend, colleague or acquaintance who has fought cancer.  Some have won their fight, others have not.  Every donation, BIG and small is appreciated and helpful…thank you for your continued support.
