I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bocce Balds (and Friends)

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bocce Balds (and Friends)

Dear Family & Friends,

Here it is, year number 5! I have been lucky enough to be a shavee the past 4 years as a member of the Bocce Balds (& Friends). That being said, all good things must come to an end and this will be my final year as a shavee. I plan on continuing to support my good friend and Team Captain, Matt Wieczorek, but will do so behind the scenes, instead of on the front lines.

It is not lost on me that collectively, we have all had and continue to have a rough go of it these past few years with Covid-19, our own country being highly divided, and now teetering on World War III in Europe. With all of this happening, I know how difficult it can be to be asked to donate, but I graciously ask once more that you please consider donating to this very important cause. Because, at the end of the day, the fight against childhood cancers does not stop, and I am happy to try and be a part of the cure.

As most of you now know, my family has been personally impacted by childhood cancer as we lost my brother, Nicholas, at the age of 11 to leukemia. He had been in remission but the cancer returned and he eventually lost his courageous battle in 1993. Cancer treatment continues to expand and improve and it is my humble request that you think about a possible donation.

Finally, a little history by the numbers. With your extremely generous support and donations, I have been able to raise $18,146 over the last 4 years. Last year alone, I raised $5,145 and was the 5th place individual in Syracuse, while our team was the 3rd place team overall. With this being my final year, I am looking to go big and round off my 5 year total with $25,000 donated. To hit this lofty goal, I will need to raise $6,584. This is more than I have ever raised but I know with your help, it is very much a possibility.

Now I need your help! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Any donation, big or small, is more than appreciated and goes towards the fight to cure childhood cancers. You can find my fundraising page at:
