I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ashley's Angels

Hi! My name is Anderson, and I am lucky to be a healthy 10-year old. For the 3rd year in a row, I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Over the past two years, I have raised a total of $4,692 for pediatric cancer research. This year I hope to average $100/day for 30 days and raise $3,000. Won't you please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation? The first year I did St. Baldrick's, my friend Steve had asked me to do it with him, and I did not want him to be the only bald one in our 2nd grade class. At first my Mom said no, but when I told her "I'm just getting a haircut - it's not like I will have cancer or anything," how could she refuse? Since then, St. Baldrick's has become a lot more personal because of our friend Ashley Burnette. Ashley is my age and is kicking cancer's (Stage IV Neuroblastoma & Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder/Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) butt with her incredible smile, positive attitude and great clinical trial medications. She has become a "rock star" in the process, and we are proud to know her and her family! It was so exciting to have them with us when I got my head shaved last year. You should read more about Ashley's story at http://www.ashleyburnette.com and see many other ways you can help support children and their families who are battling cancer. I hope you will be able to make a small donation today to help find a cure for childhood cancer. The St. Baldricks volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Just click "Make a donation" to give online, or you can donate by phone or mail. Thank you for your support!!! -Anderson
