I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Sigma Lambda Gamma

I am a fourth year studying Government and Humanities Honors at the University of Texas at Austin. I am the first in my family to pursue a higher education that comes from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas - Mission, TX. Throughout my life my parents taught me to give and help those in need. Serving my community and helping others is something I try to practice every day. This semester I will take this challenge and shave my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. It is not easy being sick and not have the means to get the necessary medications or attend doctor visits to get treatment. Please help me raise my goal. Anything counts. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

God Bless!
