I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Powell Bald Dogs

My name is Aldo T. I had a friend named Summer Earl. She was a very kind person and had loved to go to school. We went to school together until she had passed away 5 years ago. While she had brain stem glioma. I had felt really bad for her and wondered what I could do for her. This is when I heard about St. Baldricks, in which other people were raising money for childhood cancer research. When I had heard about it, I decided to sign up to help Summer, and others who have cancer live through it. Before Summer passed away, she had told our school not to be sad, but instead to be happy and remember the good times that Summer had with everyone at school.

Ever since this day, I have been participating in St. Baldricks.  To date, I have raised a total amount of $1,390, all for this amazing cause. Every year, I sign up and raise money so that other children do not have to confront cancer like Summer did.

A couple years later, when I was in sixth grade, I met a kid named Adam. I had learned that in his past he had cancer as well, but had a different kind. Adam had acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He had treatment at a hospital and survived. I am really happy for Adam and hope that other kids manage to beat the fight against cancer like Adam did.

In order to help others fight cancer, I am participating in St. Baldricks, and raising money in order to help other children beat the fight against cancer. Now I need your help. Please make a donation to support this great cause. Even donating a few dollars can help save another child's life. I would really appreciate it if I could raise $450.00 this year. Thank you for your time and support in this wonderful cause!
