I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Upper Primary Team 2025

On February 25 I will be shaving my head at HKIS’ St. Baldrick’s Event to raise money to support kids with cancer. 


Well, you may be thinking - “why is Brendan shaving his hair off?” People with cancer go through a treatment called chemotherapy and when you go through it you lose all of your hair.  So we are shaving our heads to stand with them.  


Here is a sad fact: every year over 400,000 children in the world are diagnosed with cancer.  I would like to help families that have children with cancer.


I am also inspired by my teacher Mr. Winston who has participated in this event for 20 years!
