I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I having my head shaved? In memory of my son Joel, who tragically passed away earlier this year at the age of 18. Prior to his passing Joel suffered from Crohn's disease; one of the side effects of his medications was cancer; this worried him greatly. He wanted me to have my head shaved last year, however, I chickened out. Also, for my friend Gabrielle Crête; a beautiful, sweet, kind hearted, free spirited and extremely positive young lady who at 17 has thyroid cancer ... earlier in the year we thought it was in remission; however, it may be back. We pray for our beautiful children.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
