Our beloved son Tiberius Newbill was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the tender age of 5. Treatment for AML is unavailable in our home state of Alaska, so we were medevac to Seattle Children’s Hospital for treatment. 

 Tiberius embodied a never give up approach to his leukemia. He fought for almost 21 months in three different states, in three different clinical trials, and in three different hospitals searching for a cure. Despite the setbacks, Tiberius fought cancer with a smile on his face, courage in his heart, and moxie galore. Tiberius also unleashed just enough mischief and cuteness to charm his way into the hearts of the staff we grew to love as family. He will be remembered as a kid who loved competition, video games, all things fast, Baby Yoda, and dogs; especially beagles and corgis. 

 Tiberius leaves behind his parents, Enrico & Tasha Newbill, older brothers Damien (Kailie) Newbill and Quincy Perry, grandmothers Joyce Kennedy, and Rita Ryder, Uncle Daniel (Christina) Ryder, and cousins Travis Romane, Taylor Ferguson, Harley Ryder, Daniel Jr. and Dale Ryder. 

 He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Thomas Kennedy, and Daryl Ryder, and his beloved dogs Sitka and Mischief.
