Sarah is an electric Teenager...entering into her "tween/teen" years, she was one of the unfortunate ones to receive the news that the "lumps" she noticed on her abdomen were actually Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. As if those "teen years are not hard enough!
She has handled things with grace and strength that I have no idea where it comes from. She is surely being watched over.
Thankfully Sarah is in remission now for one year, obviously we would love to keep it that way. This is the reason why I have decided to participate in the St. Baldricks; 46Mommas shave for the brave event.
Thank you to all of our friends and family who support our cause...it is soo important for these children...Childhood cancer should not be part of our vocabulary, but since it is a reality we can work together to try and make it a thing of the past.
