Will was diagnosed Pre-B ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia w/ MLL gene) in Nov. '07.He was 5 yrs old when he started treatment. Just one short year later, Nov. 11, 2008 Will lost his battle when his liver failed at the age of 6. Will is a huge fan of the movie Jaws. His favorite actor is the late Roy Scheider. Will's dream was to grow up to be a marine biologist and work with all of the under sea life especially sharks and whales. Favorite shark is tiger shark and favorite whale is the sperm whale. Also loves crocodiles, alligators, snakes and dinosaurs. Will loved to search Wikipedia on the internet to find out about all kinds of animals. After finding them he'd then draw pictures of them and label the pictures with animal name, length, weight and what they eat. He really was something else. He also liked to spend time with his little brother Casey, going to school, playing baseball, bowling and searching for a good deal on Jaws collectibles on Ebay. Will was treated at Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL and the doctors and nurses there were great. Will made an impact on everyone who met him and I hope that his memory lives on in those he left behind.
