My Story
Duke is a happy, fun-loving six year-old. Duke was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma a week before his third birthday. He endured two very difficult years of surgeries, high-dose chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, radiation and maintenance drugs. Today Duke is considered NED (no evidence of disease). Every three - six months Duke visits the hospital to have diagnostic testing done to watch for progressive disease. Duke was treated at Children's Memorial Hospital as well at Mt. Siani Hospital in New York City. Duke has a sister Emilie who is his number one fan and foundation of love and support. Duke loves Star Wars, Webkinz, playing sports and just being a "normal" kid.
