Addison was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) on April 10, 2019 at the age of 5. After just one month of treatment, she was in remission. She has remained in remission throughout the duration of her treatment and is scheduled to be finished with treatment in June of 2021. She has been very courageous at all her appointments and in taking her medicine. We are so proud of her and how bravely she has handled this difficult change in her life. Addie is the youngest of five children. She spends much of her time playing with her brother, drawing, riding her bike, and playing outside. Her favorite animal is a horse and she hopes to have one some day. She loves eating a popsicle every day in the summer time, playing basketball with her siblings, reading books with mom, and going on bike rides with dad. She also loves her dog, Baron, who has been a source of comfort for her throughout this journey. Thank you for supporting Addie and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick's Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
