Hi, my name is Beckham, I am 4 years old.  I was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in December of 2019.  My mom and dad found out that I had a mass in October when I had surgery for tubes but after the biopsy and everything was done, it took until December for diagnosis.  My first MRI was completed in November 2019 and four weeks later in December of 2019, the day before my first round of chemo, the MRI was repeated and my tumor had grown by 289.4%.  Ewing's sarcoma is a very rare and aggressive cancer so doctors wanted to start my chemotherapy regimens ASAP.  So, we began.  I am admitted into the hospital every 2 weeks for chemo as long as all my blood work is good enough that we don't have to postpone a little.  I have also started radiation now.  I have 6 weeks of radiation that i have to complete along with the chemo.  The radiation really makes me tired.  I have had 8 blood transfusions so far and have had to receive platelets 3 times.  I'm sure their will be more before my journey is over.  I have good days and bad but Mom says, I'm a superhero so I just keep on fighting.You can follow my journey on Facebook at Beckhams Journey. Love, Beckham#beckhamsjourney #beckhamstrong #strongerthansarcoma Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
