Isla is a curious, happy, energetic, and silly three and a half year old girl. She loves books, Disney Princesses, baby dolls, and French fries.
And, like many other kids fighting cancer, is now wise beyond her years. Isla knows an incredible amount about her treatment and she has become empathetic, loving, and so, so brave.
Since being diagnosed with B Cell ALL and living in isolation from the outside world much of the time, her imagination has truly blossomed. She talks constantly about when she grows up to be a Mommy.
She craves experiences and says she can’t wait to return to swimming lessons and go to Hawaii “after her button comes out”.
She has so much to look forward to.
