My Story

Samantha is 14 1/2 years old. She was diagnosed w/ ALL on February 1st 2006. Two days after she was diagnosed, she suffered a brain bleed (stroke) and had emergency brain surgery to save her life. She finished her treatment in April of 2008 and is now CANCER FREE! Samantha is 8 years post diagnosis and is a freshman in HS. She works very hard academically and is a straight A student. She is a very positive young lady and is way beyond her years. Sam plans to be a Pedi Hemoc Nurse to help others going through what she went through as a young child. Samantha is my Hero and I only hope that I can grow up to be like her someday! To read Sam's story in more detail, you can go to our website: http://Hope4ACure.blogspot.com
