My Story

Rose was diagnosed at the age of two, and at that time she spent a month in the hospital. She had 2 years, 3 months of chemotherapy treatments which included 17 spinal tap infusions, more IV infusions than we kept count of, and oral medications. She also three surgeries, for chemo port placement and then removal, and because the cancer had impacted her eyes she had a surgery on her eye as well. Cancer impacted her vision, and she deals with double vision now.

We are grateful for St. Baldricks and their commitment to research for children’s cancer treatments. In our experience with the childhood cancer community is so clear how needed and important research is.
