My Story

On September 21st 2006, just one week after Zachary’s 3rd birthday our lives changed drastically after he received the terrifying diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Zachary received his first of many blood transfusions that night. The day after he he had a port-a-cath surgically placed into his chest, followed by his of many bone marrow tests, spinal taps and his first doses of chemotherapy & steroids. This was all just the beginning of his 3 1/2 year fight. Our Zachary is one of the lucky ones. He is a survivor and a perfect example of what research has accomplished throughout the years. Now we need your help! Please consider making a donation. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Below is a link to Zack’s team “Take Down Cancer“. We would love to exceed our goal but we really need your help. Every dollar makes a difference! Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
