Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
Domenic was diagnosed with Stage IVB Hodgkin's Lymphoma on November 29, 2018. He was diagnosed after battling flu like sympotoms for approximately nine weeks during his first semester, freshman year, at Fairfield University in CT.
The Dr.s believe the lymphoma started several months before his diagnosis during his senior year in high school.
Dom earned a 3.46 during his first semester at college while feeling ill!
He is studying marketing/accounting at Fairfield.
Dom has completed the 1st 8 weeks of chemotherapy. Even though he has 12 weeks left we are very, very happy that ALL of the disease that was in his bone marrow is gone and he only has a couple of spots left in his neck.
Dom continues to amaze us everyday. He takes everything in stride, and has kept his positive attitude through all of this. He still has a long road with 3 more months of chemo and most likely a month of radiation. However, seeing light at the end of the tunnel, and knowing that the treatment is working has only added to his strength and his is so grateful that the chemo is working!!
