Patrick was diagnosed with Pre-B ALL in May of 2018, at the end of his eighth-grade year. He is undergoing treatment while going to school full-time and fighting to make each day as normal as possible. For him, that means school, running, playing with his dogs and cats, reading, and playing board games with his family. But his medical team and treatment protocol are reliant on scientific research like that funded by St. Baldrick's. A donation to St. Baldrick's supports kids like Patrick getting back to being kids, and it makes the treatment for the kids coming behind him better and better. He's wearing his favorite shirt in the picture above, and it sums up his attitude, every day: Don't Stop Believing.
