My Story
Caleb Ngigi is 1 year 10 months and lives in Nairobi,Kenya. He was diagnosed with brain cancer(PNET) in September 2017.He underwent the first shunt operation at Getrudes Childrens Hospital and the specialised surgery to remove the tumor was done on October 20th 2017 at MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi. The operation affected the original shunt and it was redone on November 2nd 2017.His condition improved until January 2018 when the shunt malfunctioned at miracously he has been without a shunt.
After the specialised surgery, he started radiotherapy(33 sessions) at Cancer Care Kenya and was recommended to do an MRI in April 2018.The scan was done and it is heartbreaking that the tumor is recurring.
