It has been a very difficult journey for us. But God has always been by our side. He gave us strength, courage and faith.
Priscila has been very courageous. It was very difficult for her in the beginning. She would cry and ask, "Why me?" I would remind her of her strength and assure her that we would get through this together. There have been many difficult times through all the hospital stays, medical procedures, and chemotherapy treatments. Thanks to God, our most difficult days are behind us.
Priscila is back to school after a year of being out. She enjoys seeing her friends daily and learning new subjects. She is a happy and loving child. She has so much to offer the world and I am excited to see the amazing woman she becomes. UNM hospital has given us wonderful support along with the support from the Alamosa Elementary School staff. -Maria Jimenez (Priscila's mother)Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
