Morgan was diagnosed with High Risk T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in November 2009. The diagnosis came when she was 13 months old and after she had fevers for over a month. We were devastated. How could this happen? Six months after diagnosis, to the day, she had an unrelated Bone Marrow Transplant. Today she a happy and healthy high schooler and never takes a day for granted. Her body took a hit from her treatments but her spirit has held strong. We have always thought she is here to teach someone something and that is just what she is doing.
