I don't ever remember childhood cancer not be part of my life...I was only 13 months old when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I was told I wouldn't make it to see my second birthday. Here I am 12 years later, I just celebrated my 13th birthday! I can't use my right hand/arm because of where the tumor was. I'm one if the lucky ones. Most of my brain tumor friends weren't so lucky.
