Chelsea was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma about a month after she turned 5 years old. The hardest part at that time for her was being away from her big brother Preston who she loved more than anything and losing her hair. A princess with no hair that was un heard of. She learned over the next year and a half how to deal with the nights away from home and how to be sassy with no hair. The strength I saw in such a younge person continued to amaze me every day. Finally treatment was finished. She was 6 years old now and cancer free. Then the pain came back we were all hit hard even more than the first time. Chelsea told me the cancer wasn't back it was just a sore leg. Once she excepted that she had relapsed it wasn't stopping her. She finally got to go to school like her brother and that's just what she did. Wheel chair pic line IV meds at school didn't stop this determined girl. She went to school on a Wednesday that following Saturday morning she passed at home. She was so strong so brave someone that would've made this world a better place unfortunately cancer took her to soon. My wish is no other parent ever has to feel the pain I do every day. Thank you for your donations and support to research this horrible disease called childhood cancer.
