In 2007, Alexa Renee, our vibrant 3 year old daughter was diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma of the Kidney, an extremely
rare Cancer affecting only 20 people a year in the US. My husband & I wondered how we could face each day. Alexa quickly showed us how as she led us in this fight for her life.
Now a seventh grader in good health, she is one of the strongest girls I know. Each day, she amazes me more & more. I have learned so much from her & to say I am proud to be her mom is an understatement. We nicknamed her our "Beautiful Soul" the day she was born & she has lived up to this name & then some. If you are interested in learning more about Alexa's battle, you can view her story on CaringBridge. Thank you for your prayers & for your support of all of these
extremely special warriors who fight the fight each & every day! God
bless!
