My Story

Rachel Clark is a 14 year old freshman who attends Burlington Christian Academy in Burlington, NC. Rachel enjoys swimming, hiking and her AP World History class. She is an avid hockey fan and enjoys traveling to different hockey arenas across the country with her mom. Rachel just completed treatment for osteosarcoma in her left leg in August 2018. She endured nearly a year of chemotherapy, and two major surgeries with lengthy recovery times. She kept a very positive attitude during her entire course of treatment. All of Rachel’s six month scans were clear and she is currently no evidence of disease.
