Imagine receiving the horrifying news that your only child had Leukemia (ALL) on Christmas Eve? That was the reality for my four year old Jeniveve and I .
Jeniveve was hospitalized at San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland, on the night of Christmas eve. Because of the symptoms present, doctors rushed her to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. On Christmas day, after several tests were performed, it was confirmed that Jeniveve had Leukemia.
The following day Jeniveves received her first chemotherapy session. Thus far she has received a Several chemo sessions. Jeniveve has had several infections in-between chemo sessions. Her immune system is currently nonexistent and Doctors are being hopeful that she will fully recover but there is no doubt she has a VERY long road ahead of her.
I am a single parent and have not left her side. I am Jeniveves sole provider, If you can find it in your heart to help this sweet little angel Jeniveve it will be a blessing to the family and never forgotten. God bless you and your families and I pray you never have to experience this devastation and heartache.
