My name is Nik and I was diagnosed at 10 years old with TCell ALL, I spent the first 3 months of my diagnosis in the hospital battling several infections and side effects from chemo. I always have a smile on my face even when I'm not feeling so brave. My cancer journey has been longer than most because I've had several delays due to infections. I still have a long ways to go in my journey, but I try to face it with integrity and a positive attitude. I love to help younger kids in the cancer community as I have younger siblings and they mean a lot to me. I hope one day that I can work for NASA as a computer engineer and volunteer within the cancer community to help kids going through the same thing that I have gone through. I want to be a light of hope to all the kids who are fighting just like me!
