Michael passed away quietly in the presence of his loving family in March, 2020.
Michael was 12 years old when he began fighting small cell osteosarcoma. Michael was from Bellingham, Washington but had to move to the Ronald Mcdonald house with his mom, until his treatment would be over. He loved to see other kids smile, and even though his journey was difficult, he tried to help other kids and their parents with their fights. He offered a lot of information for parents with children who can't speak and explained what they are feeling, with sharing his own experiences. Michael has undergone two surgeries and expected to have one more before the year was complete.
