Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.

Ryan Naulty is better than he has been in 15 months but the reality of it all has never changed. He still has a brain tumor and it still is life threatening. Most of the time it's just our life, but every once in a while, I really look around and realize how very messed up it all is. He has cancerous fluid in the tumor even though the other 2 cancer sites, his pineal & pituitary are now NED. There's a chance he can develop a spinal glioma anytime over the next 5 years. It weighs heavily on me. There is no "normal" for Ryan anymore. He has to make sure the drainage path in his brain stays unblocked, he has to report any light headedness or headaches, he has to continue getting blood work & scans. He has many other health problems due to the tumor - Hypogonadism, bone growth & density, adrenal insufficiency, DI, & diplopia, depression & anxiety. He takes 35 pills a day & 2 shots. Cancer disrupts a child's life.
