On November 7, 2016 Trevor was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. He immediately went into surgery to have it removed. After three weeks in the hospital he was able to make it home to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family.
Just before chemotherapy and radiation treatment began in mid December, it was found that the tumor metastasized and was now in his spinal fluid. Due to this, he had to undergo 30 chemo and radiation treatments in a little over a month span. On March first Trevor had an MRI and spinal tap to see how effective the treatments were. The residual tumor that was wrapped around blood vessels showed to have decreased in size. Also, his spinal fluid was found to be clean and free of cancer. We would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during this season of our lives. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
