Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
Emilia was diagnosed with ALL in July. It was something that never crossed our minds. Her symptoms include the fact that she stopped walking, complained of her feet hurting, and spiked a fever. I remember googling and finding a slew of "answers", one that included cancer, and I told my husband..."oh Google...never Google medical stuff, " and we never thought more of it. The following day, the doctors told us it was cancer. She has been so tough through treatment and continues to battle with a smile. She loves princesses, gymnastics, the color yellow and purple, swimming, soccer, being with her sister, and making silly faces. Her smile is infectious, and the things she has taught everyone throughout our journey are beyond priceless.
