Amelia (turning 11 this Saturday)…was diagnosed with a malignant PNet (primitive neuroectodermal) tumor in the visual cortex of her brain in October of 2016 (at the age of 3). After two craniotomies, six rounds of chemo (including three stem cell transplants) and 35 consecutive days of radiation…she has been cancer free for over six years and is finishing 5th grade. She loves running, soccer, rollerblading and takes art and piano classes.
