On March 12th 2007, I took my daughter to her pediatrician for her 5 year old check up. While examining her, the doctor felt a mass that shouldn't be there. She sent us to Kosair for a CT and then we moved in. It all happened so fast... By the 15th she was having surgery. She was in pain afterward and so quiet, which was a big change for my little angel. Today is the 22nd and they just sent us home. She starts radiation and chemo, this coming Monday. I am sure she will start losing her hair soon. I hope she will not lose her spirit...
While we were getting ready to leave the hospital today, she told me she is sorry she was bad and she wont do it again, if I just wont take her to the hospital anymore. It broke my heart, that she thinks this was her fault. No child or parent should have to go through this. Please donate so that we a cure can be found for this horrible disease.
