My Story
Our angel Shannon was a beautiful vibrant little girl who loved to laugh and play. She struggled valiantly through years of chemotherapy and two bone marrow transplants . During the past 4 1/2 years, because of her zest for living and incredible strength of character during her treatments, and ability to find the best in life despite many many months away from home, she inspired many to live their own lives to the fullest.
Shannon enjoyed playing Scooby Doo with her brother Jimmy and sister Samantha, camping, fishing, boating, and attending Kindergarten at Lakeshore Elementary. She spread love and cheer wherever she went. Our beautiful girl lost her fight against Leukemia on February 19, 2007. She is missed terribly, and the gaping whole in her families heart will never mend. The pain we have all endured can only be lessened by finding a cure for childhood cancers. Thank you for donating for this worthy cause on St. Baldrick's Day.
