Anastacia is a feisty 7yr old little girl who has lived with brain
tumors all her life. She has undergone 3 brain surgeries and has
been hospitalized over 40 times. Her brain tumors (choroid plexus carcinomas) have been kept in check by the chemo therapy that she received at UNMH. Anastacia is now awaiting a date for radiation therapy to begin. While the carcinomas have slowed Anastacia a bit, it has not diminished her love of life and will to fight. Anastacia loves the company of her 3 sisters along with anything to do with princesses and the Wiggles. She also enjoys everything to do with going to school. She is a 1st grade student at Cesar Chavez Elementary in Las Cruces, NM where teachers and staff , treat Anastacia like a princess.
Anastacia has been an inspiration to many people and we
feel blessed to have her as our daughter. Anastacia we love you/Anastacia le amamos.
