My Story

Ruth's life at age 4 was interrupted by Neuroblastoma Stage IV. Her primary tumors was located in her neck and chest. She has endured 6 initial rounds of chemo, 10 hours of major resection surgery, 2 more rounds of chemo during relapse, stem cell transplant, 12 rounds of radiation and 6 rounds of Accutane. Through all this Ruth has remained very positive. She has a very deep faith that has carried her. Ruth is very excited to be back at home in Kona. We had to relocate to the Ronald McDonald House on another island for treatment. What Ruth wants so much is to tell others with cancer that they will be okay. Thank you for making a difference for Ruth by committing to needed research funds for pediatric cancer research. The five year survival rates for Neuroblastoma stage IV is very low.
