Hi! Avery is an energetic, bright, and loving 2-year old (well...soon to be 3 in January) that was recently diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) in June 2015. She's currently in remission, but only beginning her long journey...having encountered her share of difficulties. She's getting more accustomed to the medications, but there are times when it makes her quite lethargic and sick...which is hard to deal with considering she loves being active. She's lost weight...she's lost nearly all of her hair...but she still brings a smile everyday that warms any heart. We've been blessed by a wonderful circle of support -- our family, our church family, friends, and amazing volunteers such as yourself.
Your generosity makes her (and our) journey so much easier to manage through. From Avery's heart...and ours...thank you for supporting her and kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure."When I am afriad, I will trust in you." -- Psalm 56:3 God Bless!
