Grayson is a typical 9 year old boy, he loves to be outside. Whether riding his bike, on his longboard, or running around at the playground, he is always on the go. He loves doing Hip Hop and was due to compete this year. He also loves his family and is #4 out of 6 kids. His sister Killian is his best friend in the entire world.
On March 2nd, 2013 Grayson was brought to the pediatrician after being sick for about a week with fever and headaches. Blood work was done and after seeing the results, was immediately sent up to the Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. After more extensive testing was done Grayson was diagnosed with Leukemia. He was immediately admitted and within days, after further testing, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and began chemotherapy. He is currently still hospitalized and undergoing treatment.
Grayson is a fighter and with the support of family, friends and our community Grayson and our family will find the strength to continue to fight and find the positive in every day. This battle will be a long one, with overall treatment about 2 years, but we know at the end of it all Grayson will be a winner.
